Hello all!
I have had the 4x for many years, now have the 4x4. I still cannot read this M93C56-6. I sent this data sheet (https://www.jameco.com/Jameco/Products/ProdDS/1393601.pdf) to mcumall and tried emailing but no help. I’ve tried a 9V external ps and nothing. It blank checks ok, which it shouldn’t. I removed the chip to attempt reading. Pls pls pls help. Tons and tons of people are counting on me being able to read this.

I have tried every 93c56, 35080, 95080, all of them essentially. VPP not set doesn’t matter right? |

Use the "Search Device for" and enter 93C56 look if any of those work. Also test your adapter and maybe try a lower speed. |

It’s all good I’m just going to invest in more programmers. 2 down, 3 to go? |

Those devices are not particularly difficult to read or program if it doesn't work well check your adapter or use some known good chips. |
