I found a bunch of old parts i was woundering if they ar able to be used(erased or not) they are Amtell at27c512r in a 32 pin plcc form they have no window to erase, are these write once or could they be erased via software. i dont have an adaptor for the yet just to test them would be a waste of money. they are use(data on them) just wounder if they are junk

If the EPROM has no window on top, then the EPROMs are the One Time Programmable (OTP)only part. If thse are used part, then you can not use them again since you can not erease those.
