Hi Everyone,

I purchased an Altera CPLD Study set. I am certain that this study set will do everything that I need it to do for the course I am taking if I could figure out how to use the board. Using and programming the Altera Max chip is no problem as I have plenty of information on how to do this. However, I need more information as to how to use the board itself (hooking up power supplies and setting jumpers). Does anyone have either a manual or a link to a manual for the SY-03091 board in English? I found the manual in Chinese, but this does not help me as I do not read Chinese.

Steps For First Time Power Up
=============================

1. connect the 7-12V AC or DC power to the Power jack. OR apply 5V to the 5V port.
2. the board should in motor drive demo mode
3. adjust the potentiometer to change speed of motor .
4. the 4 digit LED will show the puls count from the CPLD.
5. change the JP1 jumper setting will change the driver source between CPLD and MCU
6. change the JP3 jumper will change the CPLD output mode between positive and negtive signal.

If you want to download the code to the CPLD, then you need to install the Quantus II.
The ISP_JTAG port is used to download the code from the printer port.
