if i writing a program in to the chip
then willem tel me that i have a writing error on ID area
( error writing pic id area )
this is mij firt writing to a pic
wat do i rong
can some body help me
the programmer is brand new type pcb5.5c
the 2 cabels are connected

I found the error
the software that i used was 5.5c en is not ok
now i using 4.5 and now he is ok
gl all from delft holland

the chip is empty
if i do chek then he say divices is blank
put i my .hex in the chip then he say the error
but i think the dipswitsh 1-12 is not on the right position
all the 12 switches stay on off

Make sure you have erased the chip before write.

The ID area includes the user ID and CFG bits. Most likely you do not need the user ID. So, check the chip if the CFG bits are correct, then you can ignore the error.
