Hi,

Any help with this would be highly appreciated. My GQ-4x will not verify, blank check, erase or burn 29f033c chips. I am using the TSOP adapter adp-077 along with the nesessary base adapter. The base adapter is set to 5 volts. I have also changed the device file as necessary to add the device for 29f033c. The changes I added we're this (taken from this forum)

Name="MBM29F033C*TSOP40",ID="04D4",Class="29F040B",Category="FLASH",MFG="FUJITSU",CodeSize="4194304",DIP="100011110101",Adapter="TSOP40B-DIP32(ADP-077 and ADP-082)";

The chips are from a reputable dealer that I have worked with in the past and I know they are OEM.

Does the GQ-4X not work properly with Windows 8? I used to burn 29f032b chips all the time but now those are not working either? I tested the burner with some 27c020 eproms and those are working fine with it.

Again, any help would be appreciated.

GQ-4X works with Win 8/8.1.

You should be able to read the chip.
