I recommend you to remove the chip from PCB and put it in the adapter to read and write.
That way is the standard programming way. |

Tried both ways. Reads and writes but verifiy gives error.
I tried 8 bit and 16. Is there a way to know which is the correct? |

Same here. I'm usng 3M clip with sw v4.01. Should I upgrade to the latest sw?
I tried different speeds and devices (8 and 16 bits) but no luck.
Any ideas? |

I'm having the same problem. I'm using 3M soic8 clip. I used this clip for other chips and it worked fine.
