I'm trying to find out what kind of chip is this:

It's from this Alfa 156 remote key fob:

The chip is labeled:

B 87AF
S 1080
49002

I guess it's an eprom, right? Which one? Is it possible to read/copy this eprom?

Thank you! I think you're right, it could be a Crystal multiplier, makes all the sense. But the pin configuration seems different from the circuit I have. I found this Datasheet for the DS1080L:

www.icmade.com/datasheet/64/DS1080L_DALLAS_183269.pdf" target="_blank">h p://www.icmade.com/datasheet/64/DS1080L_DALLAS_183269.pdf

But in my key circuit, for instance, I have:

Pin 1 = GND
Pin 7 = GND
Pin 8 = Vcc

But it's a good clue! Please let me know if you have any other ideas.

Best regards!

Those are not chip manufacture released part number. It is not easy to make a guess.
