Hey,

Using a GQ-3X with the PSOP-44 adapter, I tried to ID and then read a 29F200 chip from a 2000 Miata with the adapter's jumper set for a 28F chip, and not a 29F. Now the chip just reads out all FF's.

Have I erased or damaged the chip, or is it just not fitting into the adapter's ZIF and I need to fool with it some more? I'd attempt a test write BUT I then I have no copy of the program that's supposed to be on it :/

Thanks for any input!

Yes, I figured that out before making my original post. Do you have an answer for my question, aside from the obvious answer?
