It's just saying not activated and isn't giving me an option to reactivate. Also says device not connected so I think it's a driver issue.

Only GQ-5X NAND and GQ-5X SPI need activation. GQ-4X software does not need to be activated.

Change the device from NAND to SPI need to change the top module. IT has different activation code. So, it need to be re-active the software. But that should be easier as a one mouse click on activation window "On Line Activation" button.

OK, the problem was that I had to disable driver signature enforcement in Windows. I got the drivers to install, and both the 4X and 5X work again, but there seems to be a bug. With the 5X, if I change the device to one different than what I'm trying to read, the activation status changes to unactivated and I have to disconnect and reconnect the programmer before I can select the correct device. I haven't tried the 4X, aside from checking to see if it was recognized.

The 4X no longer works either. Both need drivers. I hope this gets fixed soon.
