000000:Error of (file=55,device=ff), is the error when i program an AM29F040B and others eproms, anyone can help me and tell me what can i do to progarm this eprom?? what this error is???

hello,
i have try with oters chips, plcc, psop and always error apears.
what can i do who can fix this eprom programer?? thanks.

Check your pin contacting. If you can confirm your chip pins are clean and it is a good chip, then the programmer and software may have problem.

Try another chips to confirm the programmer is working.
