In the programmer there is a display of checksum.Sorry for my ignorance, but I want to know what is this checksum?
is there a way I can calculate the same checksum from a software,w/out loading it first with willem. I tried some free/shareware hex, checksum, crc calculator but can't match the same as displayed in willem.

any software you can suggest, that I can try?thank you.

In the software, the checksum is used to verify the whole data is correctly loaded or read from the device.

This software checksum is adding every data byte, and the use only two bytes length to store the result, ignore all overflow bits.
