use latest software, it should work on this chip.

Make sure your chip has no problem. Try on another chip.
J_amb_o Posted - 07/13/2012 : 12:55:53
Is this protocol working in current software?

I managed to read, but cannot write - verify always fails. I tried downloading the beta software but i guess it's way out of date!

Test was successfull! Read and Writes are correct! Thanks ZLM!
btn_corp Posted - 04/11/2009 : 23:19:48
I will test it this evening and post the result! Thanks!
gzk Posted - 04/11/2009 : 10:12:20
i will test it and post result , that's what i'm waiting for ;)

ZLM Posted - 04/10/2009 : 21:20:01
Good to know the software works for you. The problem is the chip seems not accept the standard mode to read. It needs a special way to read it.
It will be great if anyone else can test it.
kaleteam Posted - 04/10/2009 : 10:33:11
Finally I was able to make the test on a new flea chip and this version works I manage to read and to write correctly the chip, I am satisfied and satisfied to have been able to help you with my chip. But what was the problem? Thanks to you.
ZLM Posted - 04/10/2009 : 06:46:39
Yes. The new software is able to read/write the chip correctly. It is the best if someone else can test it. So that to finalize the software.

btn_corp: would you be able to test the new software?
kaleteam Posted - 04/09/2009 : 19:32:47
hi,
Have you tested on the chip, you can read and write it successfully? i've not second chip with me.
ZLM Posted - 04/09/2009 : 00:01:32
Just received. Thanks.

Reproduced the problem and changed software.
Please download this beta version and let me know it works or not.

Hello, you received the chip that I sent?
ZLM Posted - 03/30/2009 : 07:58:29
This will be fixed once we got the testing chip.
btn_corp Posted - 03/28/2009 : 13:37:28
Yes, I have tested them. It is a bit better/worse, still are missing some bytes and at the end is aligned with bytes from the beginning of the buffer.
ZLM Posted - 03/28/2009 : 12:44:48
Thanks.

Can you try to read again by selecting 95080? 25080?
btn_corp Posted - 03/28/2009 : 06:55:02
Hi ZLM/scriptll,

I have to correct myself! I've made some more tests, and actually GQ reads wrong, but write is correct (also full write), but with verify error!
I have compared SeeProg/GQ/BeeProg+ only GQ reads wrong (some bytes are skipped/missed and the whole read is aligned at the end with the first bytes from buffer). The written chip from GQ is red correctly from the others.

Hope that helps!

Regards

Thanks to kaleteam for sending the tesing chip.

btn_corp: Good to know the programmer can write once byte correctly. Did you try whole chip write? Can you try to read the chip after release and then lock the programmer ZIF handle? I just think the chip may not be reset correctly after write.
kaleteam Posted - 03/26/2009 : 22:37:03
It is exactly the problem which I have in detail! We are going to wait for the result of the tests because I posted the chip this morning, let us cross fingers so that he can resolve the problem. Made I sign when you will have the chip please. Thank you.

HI, I have the same problem.
I use H/W Re: GQ-3X Re-1.00
GQ usb Tool Re. 4.0
USB Driver Re. 4.00

and it can read 5P08C3 correctly, but. After I make one byte change and write it, when verifying it says Error. After that any READout from the same chip is wrong( i mean no error but wrong data). I have seeprog and with 95p08 chip selection I can read the same chip after the WRITE correctly with the change programmed with GQ. SO GQ-3X WRITEs correctly, but after that the READ is wrong!

I hope that was helpfull for the developers to correct the issue!

Regards

We are waiting for the testing chip to arrive. The GQ-4X has ability to support this chip. We just need a testing chip.
kaleteam Posted - 03/26/2009 : 09:14:37
Had anybody the same problem with this chip and the GQ-4X, I shall like knowing if I have to buy a new programer of another mark?

H/W Re: GQ-4X Re-1.20
Package Re.1.0
USB Driver Re. 4.00

And i try a new chip always failed! a friend can write the same chip with an other programmer!
ZLM Posted - 03/25/2009 : 00:34:01
not really. The chip must be a good chip too.
What is your software version?
kaleteam Posted - 03/24/2009 : 21:06:48
The GQ-4X supports well this chip. If she read it she has to write it?
kaleteam Posted - 03/23/2009 : 23:46:33
I think the chip is corectly placed,it can read this.
no but I succeeded in programming of 95160 and 95020 successfully and also one 24C02 " J ".
ZLM Posted - 03/23/2009 : 23:07:36
It seems the chip is not writting.

Can you confirm your chip is correctly placed on the programmer socket?
Did you ever program any other 25XXX series EEPROM successfully?
