Hi Folks,

I'm newbie to this forum group.

I have a PCB which already have an TSOP chip made by
Spansion. It's a 32 MB of memory.
I was told by someone in order to get a new TSOP chip,
is to find S29GL032N90 chip to replace it.

Or is there anyway that I could re-write on the same
memory chip that's already on the PCB??

What tools and software would I need to re-program
the same TSOP chip on the PCB???

Would I need to have a cable jumber?? Like J3??
Would I need
--ADP-003/3102 TSOP48 8/16 bit adapter V2.0
--jumper J3
--017E device ID, manufacture AMD
--GQ USB series programmer SW?????

Would I need to have a new BIOS to re-write on that chip??

I wish that I could include image of the PCB with
a TSOP chip on it. But I have no other ways to insert photo
to show you.

Hope this helps with answers.
Thank you,

Most of cases you have remove the TSOP48 chip from your PCB and then program it from a programmer.

You need a TSOP48 adaper to program it on a programmer.

Once of the programmer and the adapter can be: GQ-4X and ADP-003.
