I'm using version 1.06 of the software.

I have set the dip switches according to the picture in the software after selecting the proper device.

Reading and programming the SST27SF512 seems OK, but when I click erase and confirm it quickly returns the message "The device has been erased". However upon verification all the data is still intact.

Could someone please look into this and let me know what I should do?

The whole reason I purchased this programmer was to program and erase these exact chips. Without this ability the programmer has no use to me.

Thanks!
Dieter

The SST27SF512 is supported by this programmer.

Please check all pins on the chip are clean and has no contact issue.
As well as the chip is a good chip.
Let me know if this does not work.
