hi,
can you tell me if you need the adapter 9v 93lc86c to read a chip on a circuit?
WHAT IS THE CONNECTION TO THE CHIP, I cable SOIC, thank you

If you can not power up the circuit, then most likely you are unable to read the chip. That because the programmer does not have enough power to power youe circuit. Anyway, you can try it.

You do not need any adapter on this chip.

It has different connection on different board. You need to try and find a way to connect it.

Mostly, if you can power the board on, you do not need to connect the Pin 8 VCC pin.
