Is the GQ-4X capable of working with this chip?
The specifications can be found here:

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Thank you for your update.

I was able to read the chip and validate that the read data is correct. The write appears to be consistent as well. The chip is out of an old 5107 Silent Knight fire alarm system so it had existing data to work with.

That is truly incredible customer service and support, thank you!

I ordered some blank chips in case the original failed, so iff there are any specific tests you would me to perform just let me know.

Thanks again!

Try this:

http://www.mcumall.com/download/TrueUSBWillem/USBPrgSetup6.35.exe

select CAT24C44 from software.

I will gladly wait. Thank you for your help!

Wait. It may take a few days for a testing software.

Thank you for your response.
I do have a 24C44 chip and the GQ-4X chip for testing.
How should I proceed?
ZLM Posted - 04/02/2015 : 07:28:55
change the size is easy. just add the CodeSize=32 into a new line.

However, this chip uses a new reading command. You may not get correct reading with 93C46 command.

If you have the 24C44 in hand with GQ-4X, then the software can be changed for this chip, so that you can test it.

Further reading on this indicates that people have had success with 93C46, S-24H45, and X2444 as compatible entries.
93C46 is in the device list but I'm not sure what values I might need to adjust. The pin configuration appears to be the same but the sizes are different. The 24c44 is 16x16 for a total of 256 bits. Based on that what would I change the codesize and eepromsize parameters to?
