I am completely new to flash programming.
Trying to salvage a computer with a blown bios chip.
It takes the AMD AM29F080B-90EC eeprom flash.
Which programmer should I use for this?
The chip has a 40 pin TSOP package.

Specs can be found on AMD's website: http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/white_papers_and_tech_docs/19643.pdf

Will the PRG-002 Dual Power Willem Universal EPROM Programmer work with the TSOP48-S adapter?
Cheers, Lleo_

Yes. The Dual power will support the AM29F080B.
However, the TSOP48-S adapter will not accept TSOP40 device. It need a TSOP40 adapter. Currently the MCUmall does not have TSOP40 adapter.
