Posted - 01/18/2010 : 16:00:23 Hi, I'm wanting to program a 40 pin SST39VF080 chip that is on a laptop motherboard, there is a solder pad header on the board and I have the GQ-4X programmer which supports this chip, but the software says I need a TSOP40 to DIP32 adapter if the chip was taken off the board to be programmed. Can I connect pin 1 to 1 through 40 to 40 between the chip and the programmer? Do I need to make a special Device line to program it this way without the adapter? If so what would it be? Thanks!
