My programmer use to work fine programming this EPROM. I then installed the latest software update. Now when I attempt to program I continually get an 00000error! Chip=ff File=80 or vice versa. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

No enough DC current? check the power level from software menu. If it's less than 7, use a strong and short USB cable.
