Posted - 07/03/2013 : 15:17:46 Hello everyone,
Now i am not a newbie to electronics but i have only had this programmer for a short time.
I understand i can add devices to the text file using the following format.
Syntax: Name="Device Name",ID="Device ID in Hexadecimal",Class="Class Name",Category="Category Type",MFG="MFG Name",Speed="Default Speed",Package="Package",Adapter="Adapter",CodeSize="Code Size",EepromSize="Eeprom Size",DIP="DIP Setting",VCC="Vcc",WVPP="Write Vpp",WVCC="Write Vcc",BVCC="Blank Vcc",RVPP="Read Vpp",Message="Message to User"; ; Note: ;
Now does a class exist for the 2708? If not where can i read up on how to build one? I understand the the programmer can not supply the correct voltages but i have created an adapter board i am happy to share but i just need to understand how i can now add it to the system as it should read like a regular eprom now.

Hello
I'm picking up on this subject to know if your project of programming 2708 with the GQ-4X suceeded?
Because that's exactly what I want to do as well...
Best regards Nicolas
Try to use the 2716 algorithm with proper adapter.

But you can make a adapter for this chip yourself.
