Hey all, I cant seem to get any .bin files to write to any chip that I try to write to. Right now I am trying to write to an Atmel AT25320, using code off of another chip from the same car. I can get the code I need but I cannot seem to write to the chip with the bad code on it. The "new" chip is erased, and it can definitly be read.

I also updated to the new program for windows, just in case that was the problem. I also tried slowing down the write speed, also with no change. Oh and these chips are coming out of airbag units for honda.

Help??

The software attempts to verify, and it give the same error that is shown in the mcumall YouTube videos. I tried to slow down the write speed, but it also didnt work.

I have now gotten a hold of a bunch of .bin files that I need for these chips. I have not had the problem yet, but ya never know right?? LOL

It is possible that chip may be the problem.

But does the software verify the chip after write?

Is there a chance that the eprom itself has gone bad??
