snooker147 Posted - 04/12/2011 : 14:41:02
these have two chips one is 9564 other is 9532. crash data is in 9564

that makes sense. The only issue now is to figure out what to tell the GQ-4X is reading. Do I just pick a random chip?

i found out the Precision probe set
sell from arlabs.com can do the job but cost too much. $229 a set of 8.i just solder 8 small wires to the legs then read the chip. it work but u need some solder skill.

I tried adp-004, and the chip is too small. I did a bit more research and found a guy using micro clips, smaller than tool-015. Radio shack has some adapters that may work for TOOL-105, and I will try that when the tool gets here, hopefully in the next couple of days.

If your chip is SOIC8, then ADP-004 or TOOL-012A may work.

it too small. i dont think tool-105 will work.

I am also working on one of these. I think it needs tool-015, I hope zlm can verify...
