I have a GQ-4x4 programmer and was looking to confirm that in order to use it to program a PIC 18F14K50 device out of circuit, Vdd has to be jumpered to Vusb? I was thinking of buying an ADP-023 adapter socket and then bringing wires from the adapter over to the GQ-4x4 ZIFF socket, as the ADP-023 adapter will not plug into the GQ-4x4 directly. Is this correct. Thanks.

You can use this type of DIP headers.
