| I have been using my GQ-4x4 programmer now for several years without issues. Recently, I received a “Write failed, Address=0x00007F, Buffer=0xD7 Device=0=FF”. Not sure what this message is telling me, other than “Write Failure”.
I have several programs that I can install (all the same, but copied from different devises) and a small supply of chip to write to (MH6264LP). Loading and attempting other programs and or trying a different chip has generated the same result.
I am able to read the blank chip and write the blankness to the chip with success, but when I load the needed program and attempt to write, I get the write failure message. So, I don’t think this problem is coming from the program file, the chip or the USB cable. Version is 7.25. I can successfully read/writing to other chips (M2732A) without issue.
The problem chip is a MH6264LP, using a chip clip to short pin 26 and 28, while applying voltage to pins 14 and 26/28 to maintain the program until planted on the board.
Thank you for your help!
