I would like to know how to read a MX27C8100-PSOP44 Maskrom on the GQ-4X (the chip is addressed in 16bit mode in the device it has been desoldered from).
I thought I would be able to read these using the PSOP44 adapter (ADP-019V4 PSOP44 V4 for AM29LV160 MX29L3211) but it only supports 28F or 29F flash apparently ... and I tried but the read result is not good (no error message but what is read is not good).
I see there is an adapter ADP-054 (16 Bit EPROM 40/42 pin ZIF adapter V4.1 for Willem) for MX27C8100, the problem is the package I have for this chip is PSOP44 and not DIP :-(

I used the ADP-019V4 PSOP44 V4 (PSOP44 -> DIP) adapter in order to read the device but what is read is not what is expected, this is why I think the adapter is not sufficient for / or supporting the device I intend to read.
MX27C8100 is listed as supported by GQ-4X but the -PSOP44 not.
Maybe there are jumpers or pins to tweak in order to make it properly read using the ADP-019V4 .... but I'm not aware of.
