 Error at 0x002FFF every time

Dual power, AT27C256, verified all jumper settings, yet every time I program, it gets to about 37%, and then gives this error.

Help!

Are you trying different chips? If you are, I recommend connecting the 9V external adapter. Mine would not work without it. Blank checks always failed without the external power.

If you try different chip but failed in same address, then I'll say the addrress line may have contact issue. Check the 3 address chips on the programmer, if any loose condition. You can swap them see if the failed address changes.
