Hi,
I have GQ-4X programmer that I purchased recently. This was actually the first time I've tried to work with it.
When I tried to read 95040(st) it showed me only FF's(though there is data on it). I've tried many times on different speed with no result.
Then somehow without changing anything it showed me some data but with offset.Meaning that addresses 00:090 still showed FF's. Then after another reading it showed me another data.
As I understand this programmer supports 95040,so if you have any idea what to do please tell me.

I suspect the chip has pin contact issue with the programmer ZIF.

Some 95040 chip has no pin 1 indication. So, check your pin orientation in ZIF. Also, the SOIC8 adapter also need to make sure has good contacting.
