I just receive new programmer. It looks Great. What driver is required by OS (XP) Why was driver not included? I follow instructions to install Software first, then connect programmer.
Software doesn't read the switch configuration, I select new device and software tell me that Switch needs changed but not show me the switch configuration??? I try with either USB power only and with USB and external Power Supply?
Programmer: RE GQ-2x RE 1.00
Software Release is RE 1.04 downloaded from MCU Mall.
What is U2 & U10 ?
How do I resolve problems?

Thank you

Scott

Once you installed the software, the USB driver is installed too. No separated USB driver installation required if install the software before connect the programmer.

I followed instructions.

I guess I will send it back. I see no responses to my other questions either.

The DIP setting is not a problem. The software will not read the DIP switch. Each chip has different DIP switch setting and user need set the DIP setting. The message is only a reminder. You can ignor it if the DIP switch already been set. The DIP setting is showing in the software.

See example DIP setting in the software:

8.57 KB

No external Pwer Supply is needed. Unless you are using a unpowered USB hub.

U2 & U10 part number are the chip not been published yet.
