I'm interested in the "True USB Willem Programmer" but would like to make sure the USB driver supports Windows XP x64 Edition.

For years I have been using a BP Microsystems EP-1132 programmer but they stopped support at Windows XP and the parallel driver for the programmer doesn't work in XP x64.

So I'm on the hunt for a programmer that has x64 compatible drivers and the True USB looks like a cool programmer for the money.

The software installs and seems to run fine (besides not detecting the programmer since I don't have one) but that doesn't really test if the drivers work.

Has anyone tested this to work OK?

Also, is Windows Vista x64 support planned?

Thanks!

Seriously, nobody has tried this?

I ordered one, when it gets here I'll post my results.

Ok, the USB Programmer arrived today. It does not work in Windows XP x64. After installing the software and plugging in the programmer the device drivers are not found.

It does work on an old Windows XP (non x64) machine so the programmer appears to be good.

Is it possible to somehow manually assign the Cypress USB/MCU driver (ezusb.sys) to the programmer?

Any help? Could whoever supports this programmer tell me if x64 support is planned? It is important I get this working.

Thank you,
Dieter Kedrowitsch
