hi im in need of 8 pin soic adptor of some kind.at the moment i use 8 pin soic clip for reading and writing eeproms 24cxx 93c46,some eemroms have to be removed from the board and i put them in to the 8 pin soic clip which is under spring tension when doing this the legs on the smd eeprom get bent or break off causing difficulty in soldering back to board,so im looking for an adaptor in which i can place the eeprom read it and replace it back on the board.i have been looking at adp 004 soic 8 adaptor is this the one i need. thanks .raf

The ADP-004 soic 8 adaptor is the ZIF version of SOIC adapter. It's easy to place the remove from the adapter. I think this one will works for you.
