Hello, I have an AMD 29F400BT (PSOP44) flash inserted into the GQ-4X programmer with the ADP-019 adaptor. On USBPrg I have selected the chip 29F400BT instead 29F400BT*PSOP44.

For the 29F400BT*PSOP44 chip is needed the ADP-019 adaptor and for 29F400BT is needed the ADP-003 adaptor.

I have observed that in this scenario it's possible read the flash and create a correct bin file.

Could be possible write a 29F400BT*PSOP4 flash, selecting the 29F400BT flash on USBProg and using the ADP-019 adaptor? USBProg informs that selecting 29F400BT device, you must use the ADP-003 adaptor.

Your chip is in the software.

Check your software version, and download the latest version.
Select "AM29F400BT*PSOP44" from software.

I've just download the latest software but before that I programmed the flash with 29F400BT selected. (I have a backup of the original bin file)

The software validated the writing correctly, but now the flash is not working in the ecu.

Do you think it will work rewriting the flash with the new version of software (selecting 29F400BT*PSOP44)?
I wonder why software validated the writing and after that the flas
