Hello,
Just having trouble erasing SST39SF040
It said erase complete, but the screen is not FF...
- Dip switch is correct, Chip in the right position.
***Error***
BlankCheck: Device is not blank at address: 0x0, device read 0x2.
Varify: Device verify failed at address: 0x3c000, device read 0x0, buffer is 0xff

| If the chip ID and reading are correct, then the chip may be a damaged chip. |

Malcolm, where did you buy a placement EEPROM? I think my sst39sf040 may be bad also, do you know where I could purchase a replacement? |
