Hi,

I would like to use my GQ-4x to reflash the firmware of a linksys wrt54g router using the JTAG interface. This router was infected with a virus, and i can no longer access it's menu.

I'd like to create a new device that I will use to flash the EN29LV160AB (2MB) chip that is present on the board , using the JTAG port of the router.

Based on the already existing device EN29LV160AB :

Name="EN29LV160AB",ID="XXXX",Class="29LV160B",Category="FLASH",MFG="Eon Silicon",Adapter="ADP-003 TSOP48 8 BIT Mode",VCC="3.6V",Message="Set the adapter to 5V jumper position, 29FXXX.";

I created this device:

Name="WRT54G",ID="XXXX",Class="29LV160B",Category="FLASH",MFG="Eon Silicon",Adapter="JTAG";

Is this enough to have the GQ-4X really use JTAG interface to send the data i have loaded with this device? I do not specify VCC in the device , because the device will be powered on from its board.

Thanks for helping.

No. This does not work.

This chip is not the JTAG chip. It must use adapter ADP-003.
