Hi, I tried to mod my Xbox 360 which resulted in a bad flash that caused my drive to 'brick'. The forums on the other sites said i needed to externally flash the tsop32 chip on the DVD drive. So I bought an eprom programmer (Top 2005), removed the chip (SST 39VF020), and installed TopWin (latest versions 2.21 and 2.51)- in the program i did a chip select > FLASH/EE > SST > SST39VF020 > OK. The program allows me to erase and read, if i click read it allows me to erase, program and verify - i have a back up of my original bin file which i want to load onto the chip but when i load it and click erase (ok) blank (error!!) program (error!!) verify (error) read (ok) - when i click read first it does all the functions except blank but the bin doesn't go on. Also, I've connected a tsop32 adapter.
In short... Help, please.
