Can you confirm your chip location? For the 28 pin chip must pin 1 upward and top aligned. |

Chips are installed correctly. Tried 2 DIPs and 1 SOIC on ADAFRUIT's DIP adapter. Does not identify chip. |

hi guys i need to program a PIC16F1788 but do you need an adapter? is there a pattern? or can I plug it directly into the gq 4x4 through a socket? can you advise me which one? |

It goes directly in the ZIF, follow the device location in the software. |
