When click on at29c256 device, there are messages showed up:

PCB3/A/B SETTING JUMPER
WILLEM PCB SHORT ZIF32 PIN3<->PIN31

The software can be used for different revision programmer hardwares. This message reminds user when using different programmer hardware revision, there are different settings needed.

"PCB3/A/B SETTING JUMPER" means for the PCB3A, PCB3B programmer user need to set the special chip jumpers
"WILLEM PCB SHORT ZIF32 PIN3<->PIN31" means for the Willem PCB3.1 need to short the ZIF32's Pin3 with Pin31.

For the Enhanced willem, since it is based on the PCB3B and has no jumper, so, this message can be ignored. However, when doing AT29C256 programming, the special device LED "At29" should be selected.

Just to clarify what may be the obvious... From what I understand, if I have the dual power and am writing a 29c256, I do not need to use the jumper? I wrote my first one last night and all appeared to be well w/o the jumper, but I wanted to make sure.

Thanks,
Shawn

For the AT29C256, the dual power willem programmer need some TIP-jumpers setting, no need short the pin3 with pin31 by wire.
All settings see picture below:
