I,m very new to this and would really appreciate any information on reading this chip. What programmer and adaptor do i need to read and write to this chip.

There are a few programmers support this chip.

All Willem programmers with a TSOP48 8bit adapter will be fine.

Also, TOP2049,EasyPor800, 5X, SuportPRO580U....with a TSOP48 adapter will work too.
