i am working on a system having a "XC9572 In-System Programmable
CPLD". the part no is XC9572 15PQ100C. can you suggest me a programmer which can read the chip and re program it. the sytem also consists of a controller MC68306pVI8

The PRG-031 will do the ISP programming for this chip.

The only programmer supports MC68306 is the PRG-Xeltek-001 SuperPro3000U Programmer

thanks for replying/ the xc chip has 100 pins. would it be possible to read the program through PRG 031

Yes. The PRG-31 is uses JTAG interface. It only connects 5 pins of chip for In-System-Programming(ISP). So, it can program the chip in the circuit after you soldered the chip on the circuit board.

dear zlm, thanks for your advise. before buying it, i want to try one experiment. my friend has labtool which supports this chip. i have identified jtag prot on board. now please advise how to connect jtag port to labtool programmer. it has 48 pins dip zif socket. to which pins of labtool zif should i connect the jtag port 5 pins.
