I'm having trouble to erase/write/verify this Winbond device. This is a 3.3V device but measured 5V during read/write process on the VDD pin. Does the Enhanced Willem provide 3.3V onboard? Also, the I.D. reported Manufacturer: Fujitsu and no other data, strange?

Seetings used:
Board Type: PCB3
Device: Winbond W49V002A (LPC type)
Dip swtich: as per Willem software

TIA

I inserted in the upper PLCC-32 socket not the FWH/LPC socket on the bottom. Should I use the bottom socket eventhough this is not a 'FWH' type FLASH?
ID Fujitsu appeared and the read buffer shown bunch 0x06 mixed with other hex numbers.
Chip can only be inserted one way with the chamfered corner matching on the IC with the socket.
What about the VCC1 voltage? The chip is rated for 3.3V but the programmer outputs 5V on the VCC1.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks 'backbiter17 & EZoSat! I got the FLASH to erase and reprogrammed. Yes, you need to use the FWH/LPC (bottom) socket for this device. The reported device id as follow: Manufacturer ID: 0x25, Device Code: 0xD6.
