hey, i have tried to write to multiple eproms of the 27C322 type, all with no luck. I am using a 18V ac power supply, and have also tried it with a 12V supply.

The chip is recognised and blank check shows its empty, and then when i go to write to it it writes all the wrong bytes of code!

Every last byte is wrong. but it manages to write the entire chip.

What am i doing wrong?

Im using willem version .98D5 on PCB50.

If it only the last byte wrong, then looks like software related. Try use other software version. Like 0.97j version.

No ZLM you miss read that. EVERY byte is wrong. i meant all of them. I even tried a different programmer (GQ-4X) and it fails at the same spot every time. Im using the ADP-054 adapter with the 4X and still nothing. Heres what happens:

"Chip is blank
c:\users\downloads\test.bin.
Speed = 3
ID check skipped
Writing... Code
Elapsed time: 2.44 seconds.
Write failed, Address=0x000000, Buffer=0x4C Device=0x48
Write failed"

It fails at the same place every time. I bought the GQ4x because i thought my willem was faulty, but now the 4X is failing too so i dont know what to do...

The adapter is wrong in this case.

Thanks for your help so far ZLM.
So you think the adapter is faulty? That sucks, i bought it from MCUmall and it hasnt worked since i got it, so i guess it makes sense that it could be faulty.

Is there a different adapter you would recommend?
