Hi
I have a issue with CSI93c56a.
Reading the chip: i select a generic 93c56, csi93c57, comes back with weird data. Selecting Fairchild f-93c56 gives me a good (correct) data, but cant write the chip. It writing but cant verify and nothing changes. After few attempts of writing, the chip reads all ff.
I`m assuming the chip is damaged.
I`m wondering if you are going to provide a support for for this chip.
Do you have other suggestions.

The chip should be fine.

This chip should be supported.

Can you find the datasheet of this chip?

Try slower speed.

CSI is a CAT am I right? here is a link for CAT 93c56
h**p://datasheet.octopart.com/CAT93C56LI-G-ON-Semiconductor-datasheet-5319227.pdf

I tried lower speed. No luck. Only Fairchild is reading fine but is not writing properly.
I'm willing to try anything to make this work.
Thank you

It looks like nothing special.

The CAT93c56 chip is compatible with 93C56C. In that case you can try 93C56C_8bit and 93C56C_16bit from software.
