I have a laptop that could not be upgraded and turned off before completing the upgrade so it does not shows image. I got the GQ-4X and I got the file .EXE from Dell. I used the program Resources extrac and I got the .ROM can I reprogram this file to the bios chip directly or do I need the .BIN? How an I get the .BIN from the bios setup file.

Yes I know the BIN is there but how do you extract it? Have you done this or know anyone that has extracted a bin from an EXE file. What about a ROM (I do have extracted a rom form an EXE)file can that be copied into the chip directly with the GQ-4X and would it work? Until now I have done it with BINs no problemas but I cant get the BIN.
