Hi, I went to read a 93C46B eeprom today and it wouldn't read.

Data buffer shows all "00" even when I check a new blank one. Should be full of "FF".

93C66 does the same ... all "00"

If I run the erase function, it fails because it's full of "00" still.

Restarted the programmer many times, along with the PC. The PC is not connected to the net, so it hasn't updated ... and I read some 93C46B only a week ago, perfectly okay.

I checked other eproms, eg 27C256 and it reads okay.

I set device ID as 24C04 and "read" it (with none in the socket) ... and it came up with all "FF" data as per normal.

I did the Test H/W and the Voltage Diagnostic and all came up okay.

Any idea what is wrong and how I can restore it please? Thanks.
