Hello - I need to use my GQ4X4 (just downloaded/installed 7.40) to read/write EEPROM in PLCC32 package part number X28HC64 which is attached to an external PCB.

How are pins from the device mapped to pins on the GQ4x4 40-pin ZIF socket?

Version 7.40 software indicates one of two adapter types; I need to jumper from the programmer (pins as required) to an external PCB on which the device is mounted, so an adapter is not usable in this case. The device on external PCB will not be powered on nor connected to any other device or circuit.

Thank you!

It appears that I can follow GQ4x4 pinout from

https://www.mcumall.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6530

and wire to the device PCB accordingly.

Is there any exception to this?

Thanks!
