Hey, so I just received my new willems dual power programmer the other day, and today I tried to use it. I plugged in the printer cable & the USB cable. I start up the willem eprom program. I am programming AT29C256's. I selected that, set the jumpers & dips accordingly. No chips are in the ZIF. When I go to Help / test hardware it comes back: hardware error: check power & connection. Both cables are plugged in. Anyone help?

Check your connections and BIOS LPT port setting. Most likely your connection is not good. Try to unplug and plug for a few times to eliminate the contacting issue. Also, in BIOS LPT setting need to be EPP/ECP mode.
