Posted - 09/05/2006 : 09:39:33 Hey guys, this is my first post. When I try to erase AT29C256 chips, I get a time out error. It will confirm h/w, chip ID, read & verify, & program ok, but not erase.
Any ideas?

Thanks! |

Posted - 09/05/2006 : 10:37:32 AT29C256 does not need a erase. It will be overwiten by new data. If you need a blank chip, fill the buffer by FF and write it to chip. |
