Hey guys, this is my first post. When I try to erase AT29C256 chips, I get a time out error. It will confirm h/w, chip ID, read & verify, & program ok, but not erase.

Any ideas?

Kevin

Aahhh, i did'nt know that about those chips. But is there still a problem with my settings that allow it to time out?

Thanks!

AT29C256 does not need a erase. It will be overwiten by new data.
If you need a blank chip, fill the buffer by FF and write it to chip.
