Hi everyone.

I've recently bought a Top853 programmer. I've programmed my first GAL16V8 from the JEDEC file.

But now I want to CLONE a PAL16L8 using a GAL16V8.

- My first question is. Can TOP853 read PAL16L8? If so, what device should I select (since PAL ones doesn't appear), GAL16V8?

- Once I have the JED file, I can burn with it a GAL, or I must use a PALtoGAL tool first?

Thanks in advance!

PALs are not listed on the long list of programmable devices for the TOP853 . I just bought one today. I have 40 old 27XX types here and I'm trying to figure out how to add auxilary power. Possibly , using my TOWER with beefy power supply would work better than a laptop.
