hi my gq4x software will not detect programmer ive tried to reinstall software no luck can somebody help plz

Try the USB 2.0 drivers. You may have to watch your device manager, unplug and plug it back in and watch what comes up, then right click that and install drivers from there.

First thing is to make sure the USB driver is loaded correctly. If not, try to solve the driver issue first. From the device manager, you will know the driver if is running.
