Hi, new here. Im trying to program a M27c801 with my new GQ-4x4 and when ibstart the program, it acts as if a chip is already loaded when there is nothing in the slot yet. Is this normal?

Also, i bought the ADP-054 adapter. If i am writing a 8mb snes game. Which socket do I use?

For the chip M27C801, you do not need adapter. Just put the chip on the programmer.
The chip location is displayed on the software.
