Hi all

I seem to have a problem with this chip (12F675) the software cannot detect the chip. I placed the chip pin 1 on the Ziff pin 8 (pin 1 facing the Ziff handle) but still not detecting.

Also when I try to program a loaded HEX file I don't need to set the config bits am I right or not?

If so what box should I check for the config on TOPWIN software?

the chip goes in the very bottom

pin 24 25{bottom} are pins 4 and 5 on the pic
pin 1 on the pic would be pin 21 on the zif

any chip with a pinsize goes from bottom up in top programmers
unless otherwise stated

in the top folder there is a folder marked place
in it is some bmp files for positioning of certain chips
if it's not there mostly !!! its bottom up

but dont quote me there info is sketchy at best

a trick is if you plug it in a do a test usualy the software will show you
red pins and green ones and a yellowed set
the yellowed ones are the target pins
